Antoon Dierick leads our innovation team and specialises in the legal aspects of the information society. Antoon has over a decade of relevant experience servicing national and international clients, both as an attorney at a top-tier international firm and as Chief Legal Officer in an international IT company in which he directly advised the board of directors and management. Antoon has developed a sector specific focus on IT-related companies, start- and scale-ups in the innovation space as well as gaming and gambling companies. He assists such clients in drafting and negotiating a wide range of IT, privacy and other commercial agreements, in business-focused advisory work, in dispute resolution and in M&A related work.
Antoon is the author of several articles on IT, data & privacy and gambling, and regularly lectures on these topics and is a member of the committees on digitalisation and innovation of the OVB (Order of Flemish Bar) and Ghent Bar as well as a member of an IT/IP editorial board of a well-known legal magazine.
