Sophie Peeters
Sophie acts as an Ace consultant monitoring client output for qualitative, clear and to-the-point legal drafting. She also assist Ace Law in providing added-value services to our clients.
Sophie has over ten years of experience as a financial regulatory expert. Capitalising on her payments knowledge, she left the bar to found her own payments consulting practice. As a former lawyer and a fierce advocate for qualitative, clear and to-the-point legal drafting, Sophie also acts as an Ace consultant monitoring client output and challenging the Ace lawyers to perfect their drafting skills. In addition Sophie hosts seminars for clients on legal drafting and provides input on their template documents.
Prior to founding her own consulting practice, Sophie was a financial regulatory lawyer at a magic circle law firm for almost ten years. Clients praised her clear legal drafting, the principles of which she has always sought to convey to clients and colleagues through legal drafting courses.
Sophie holds a master’s degree in law (KU Leuven 2009) and a master of science degree in law and finance (University of Oxford 2011).
